ISTANBUL, 6th of May 2026 – HT Division Zrt. is proud to announce the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Makine ve Kimya Endüstrisi (MKE) A.Ş. during the SAHA EXPO 2026 International Defence and Aerospace Exhibition. This strategic partnership focuses on the integration of MKE’s cutting-edge TOLGA Close-In Air Defense System (CIADS) into HT Division’s versatile Katica Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) platform.
As the battlefield evolves towards autonomous systems and increased aerial threats, particularly from FPV and tactical UAVs, the need for mobile and autonomous short-range air defense (SHORAD) has become critical. This collaboration combines HT Division’s expertise in modular unmanned systems with MKE’s century-long heritage in advanced weaponry to deliver a high-performance solution for the modern theatre of war.
A New Era of Mobile Air Defense
The integration features the 20 mm Tolga Revolver Weapon System, a gas-operated turret capable of high rates of fire and precision engagement against low-altitude threats. Mounted on the robust Katica UGV chassis, the system provides:
- Mobile SHORAD Capability: Protecting maneuver forces and logistics nodes from drone swarms.
- Fire-on-the-Move: Advanced stabilization allowing engagement while the UGV is in transit.
- Counter-UAV Excellence: Optimized for the detection and neutralization of low-cost tactical drones.

“This agreement marks a significant milestone in HT Division’s mission to provide mission-ready, autonomous solutions for the European and global security communities. By pairing the Katica UGV platform with MKE’s TOLGA system, we are delivering a strategic force multiplier designed to bridge the most critical gaps in contemporary battlefield defense and autonomous protection.”
This partnership further strengthens the industrial bonds between Hungary and Türkiye, showcasing a joint commitment to innovation, interoperability, and the future of autonomous warfare.
