The advanced-level event, supported by NATO and titled ‘Capacity Building for the Next Generation of Scientists in the Field of Energy Security and Climate Neutrality’, was held under the chairmanship of Dr Utku Kale, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Aeronautical Engineering at BME.

During the 10-day event, 49 speakers from NATO and NATO partner countries, including the European Commission, the International Aviation and Transportation Federation, institutes, and distinguished universities from various countries, as well as expert scientists and researchers, exchanged information in eight different sessions.

The event was opened with speeches by Dr András Nemeslaki, BME Vice Rector for International Relations; Dr Adam Török, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Engineering (KJK); and Dr Utku Kale, NATO Supported Event Chairman and NATO Country Lead Organiser.

HT Division Zrt., one of Hungary’s leading defence industry companies, was the only industrial organisation to participate in the event and was represented by Serdar Şanlı, Business Development Manager.
